Why What We Do Is Important
We firmly believe that schools and colleges play a key role in our local communities. During the school day they provide outstanding education and experiences to the students at each establishment.

Outside of the school day they each open up to provide outstanding community provision, where each local community can access a wide range of health, fitness and sport provision

We are driven to create community hub sites across all our venues as they sit in the heart of each local community. Providing high standard facilities and accessible community provision helps build positive, healthier more resilient and coherent communities

We also see first hand the positive impact and positive outcomes opening up our facilities for grassroots sport has every week on our local young people. Not only the physical health benefits but many of our young players over the years are now playing at both semi professional and professional level across a range of sports and teams including Manchester United FC, Manchester City FC, Everton FC, Manchester Giants Basketball, Team GB Gymnastics, Team GB Fencing as just a handful of examples

How we benefit our Schools & Colleges
We ensure each venues' sporting facilities are of a high standard, well maintained and that our community provision revenue is continually re-invested to support our facility re-investment strategy. This is really key as this creates a strong working partnership between ourselves and each school senior team and PE/Sports Teams.

Our re-investment strategy will ensure we provide outstanding facilities and provision for both our Stamford Park Trust students and each of our local school and college communities.

Our strong working partnerships with key stakeholders has further supported and enhanced our facilities and community provision. Our key stakeholder partners include:
The Football Foundation
Manchester FA
Cheshire FA
The FA
Tameside School Sport Partnership
GreaterSport
Sport England
Tameside Sports Network
Tameside MBC
UKactive
England Netball
England Cricket Board
