The Stamford Park Trust Gift Appeal 2025 is now live!

Stamford Park Trust has launched its annual Stamford Park Trust Gift Appeal, supporting children and families across Tameside who are facing genuine financial hardship this Christmas. The initiative is delivered in partnership with Astley Sports Village, which is part of the Trust and has led the highly successful Christmas Gift Appeal for more than five years.

Every year, the appeal supports over 50 local families, providing brand-new Christmas presents for children who may otherwise wake up to very little on Christmas morning. In addition to gift donations, the appeal also provides gas and electric meter top-ups for families at risk of being without heating during the festive period.

Trust Academies Become Official Drop-Off Points

All academies within Stamford Park Trust are now official donation drop-off locations, making it easier than ever for families, local residents, partners, and businesses to get involved.

  • Longdendale High School
  • Rayner Stephens High School
  • Astley Sports Village

How the Community Can Support

The Trust is appealing for donations of brand-new gifts for children and young people, suitable for ages from toddlers to teens. Suggested items include toys, Lego, dolls, puzzles, board games, prams, action figures, scooters, sports equipment, hygiene and make-up sets, colouring books, remote control toys and more.

All items must be new.

Gift donations must be dropped off by Thursday 11 December 2025.

Financial Donations Welcome – Including From Local Businesses

Financial contributions are also encouraged and are used exclusively to purchase additional children’s gifts or provide essential gas/electric meter top-ups for families in need. Local businesses are especially invited to support the appeal as part of their community or corporate social responsibility work.
